By booking or attending a DIY Surrey workshop or event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. General
DIY Surrey provides creative workshops, private events, and experiences across Surrey.
By purchasing a ticket, making a booking, or attending an event, guests agree to these Terms & Conditions.
DIY Surrey may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your booking will be the version available at the time your booking is confirmed.
2. Bookings & Payments
All workshop and event spaces are subject to availability.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received in full.
Ticket prices may vary depending on the workshop, venue, event type, and what is included.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Because workshops involve advance preparation, materials, and venue arrangements, bookings are generally non-refundable once confirmed.
If you are unable to attend, please contact DIY Surrey as soon as possible. Where possible, you may transfer your booking to another guest by contacting DIY Surrey in advance.
At DIY Surrey’s discretion, a transfer to another available date or event credit may be offered where reasonable and possible.
In the unlikely event that DIY Surrey needs to cancel or postpone an event, guests will be offered either:
* a full refund
* or the option to transfer their booking to a future event
This does not affect your statutory rights.
4. Event Changes
DIY Surrey reserves the right to make reasonable changes to venues, timings, workshop details, materials, or event formats where necessary.
Any significant changes will be communicated to guests where possible.
5. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Selected workshops may include light nibbles and refreshments.
Dietary requirements or allergies should be submitted at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to accommodate requirements where possible, this cannot always be guaranteed.
Guests with severe allergies should contact DIY Surrey before booking or attending.
6. Age & Alcohol
Workshops are designed for adults unless otherwise stated.
Selected events may include a glass of prosecco or other alcoholic refreshments.
Guests attending events where alcohol is served must be aged 18 or over, and proof of age may be requested.
DIY Surrey reserves the right to refuse alcohol service where appropriate.
7. Photography & Content
Photography and short-form video content may occasionally be captured during workshops and events for use across:
* social media
* the DIY Surrey website
* promotional materials
If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let DIY Surrey know before the event or speak to the host on arrival.
8. Creative Materials
Workshop materials are provided as part of the experience unless otherwise stated.
Guests are welcome to take their finished canvas home at the end of the workshop.
Selected creative materials, including brushes and paint palettes, may also be available to purchase separately after selected events.
9. Personal Belongings & Liability
DIY Surrey takes reasonable care to provide a safe, enjoyable, and thoughtfully organised experience for all guests.
Guests attend events at their own discretion and are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the event.
DIY Surrey holds appropriate business insurance for its workshops and events.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
DIY Surrey is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence.
10. Website & Information
DIY Surrey aims to keep all website and event information accurate and up to date.
Occasionally, details may change or errors may occur. DIY Surrey reserves the right to correct errors, update event details, or amend information where necessary.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
